Senior Advisors

Sally Pelletier, CPMSM, CPCS, Executive Director of Credentialing Resource Center Consulting and Senior Consultant with The Greeley Company 

Ms. Pelletier serves as a senior consultant for The Greeley Company. She brings more than 16 years of credentialing and privileging experience to her work with medical staff leaders and medical staff service professionals across the nation. Ms. Pelletier advises in the areas of criteria based core privileging, medical staff office assessments and medical staff services management.

Ms. Pelletier was a consultant for SJP Pro Med Enterprise prior to joining The Greeley Company. She began her career as a  medical services professional (MSP) in 1992 as the medical staff coordinator for The Memorial Hospital in Conway, New Hampshire, where she was responsible for the operations of the Medical Staff Services Office and provided administrative direction for medical staff performance improvement functions to assure consistency, communication, and efficiency.

In 2004, she began consulting with The Greeley Company with the goal of providing professional guidance to healthcare entities through consulting services with a commitment to excellence. She writes a bi-monthly e-newsletter article for The Credentialing and Privileging Advisor and also serves as a credentialing and privileging resource for The Greeley Company’s parent company, healthcare media specialist HCPro, Inc. Ms. Pelletier is a managing editor for Briefings on Credentialing and has coauthored several books including — Core Privileges for AHPs, The FPPE Toolbox, Converting to Core Privileging: Ten Essential Steps, and Core Privileges for Physicians, also published by HCPro.

Ms. Pelletier is a frequent presenter at state and national seminars on such topics as The Joint Commission Medical Staff Standards and survey preparation, basic and advanced credentialing and privileging, low and no volume providers, allied health practitioners, criteria based core privileging, background checks, and physician aging. 

Ms. Pelletier has recently served as Secretary for the National Association of Medical Staff Services. Her other leadership roles for NAMSS have included chair of the Governance, Management and Manpower Committee, the Bylaws Committee and the Credentialing Elements Task Force, and serving as a member of the Credentialing Consensus Alliance. In addition, she served as president of the New Hampshire Association Medical Staff Services.

Ms. Pelletier is certified by the Certification Board of NAMSS as a Certified Professional Medical Services Manager and a Certified Provider Credentials Specialist.
